Jennifer was working a “normal” job that wasn’t fulfilling for her and chose to be authentic to her true interests and went back to school to become a certified sex-educator. Jennifer believes that while sex is shamed in society, so is pleasure. She describes the reason for this as being societal control and a fear of loosing it from those who have it. Jennifer points out the contrast between the fact that we are shameful around sexuality, and yet it’s the number one thing used to sell us products, ideas etc. She demonstrated the unfair and painful stigma that models + members face with a personal story about the fact that during the pandemic she decided to try camming herself, but quickly stopped when someone recognized her and shamed her for doing so. Jennifer says sometimes she wants to utilize social platforms like LiveJasmin similarly to Instagram, as a way to reach an audience where she can share sex education. She currently has issues with Instagram shadow-banning her content even though its educational.
